ABOUT SAKE
What is Sake? Sake is an alcoholic beverage made with rice. Because sake is made from a grain, it is actually brewed – similar to how beer is made. Sake is made with water, rice, yeast and koji (a molded rice that breaks down the starches to allow fermentation). Although its production is more like a beer, its flavor profile is closer to wine.
